| Some
starting points
A
course of training could introduce you to digital photography,
starting by helping you decide on the purchase of a digital
camera to meet your uses. Often, I pick up from the point
that people have made a purchase. Some want training because
they are finding their digital camera more complex than they
had expected or want to learn how to get more use out of
its functions other than auto-settings etc.
Any starting point is welcome. Organising,
managing and image- editing digital photo-files is a popular
starting point. Getting better prints
out of your ink-jet printer or from a photolab is another keen
interest of many clients. Going on a special holiday is
another reason to book some training. This usually
involves a lesson or two on how to get the most out of the
camera that will be used.
Accompanied photoshoot lessons (up to
day-long) can be arranged. Also, short courses for more than
one person. I have arranged intensive courses across
a few part-days in a week for people who have especially come
to me to learn with their visiting relatives, or whilst holidaying
in Devon. Courses as birthday, Christmas or retirement gifts
are another approach.
Maybe you would like to brush up your
skills in digital photography or top up your understanding
of your version of Adobe Photoshop Elements. If this topping up is following another of
my courses (including those through Devon ACL) I offer a specially
discounted charge rate. Topping up your understanding
may involve learning more about the use of the many additional
uses that Adobe Photoshop Elements might offer you like slide-shows,
printed calendars, photo-books, photo cards
and other creations to meet special occasions etc. Features
such as Photomerge Panorama, filters, layer masks and exposure
merging are other possible top ups. Maybe you are in a job
that could benefit from making use of a digital camera and
digital imagery?
